Coal Handling

We have designed many coal handling installations over a significant number of years. These range in size from small, in-ground bunkers with a single auger discharge to 40 tonne reception hoppers, both in-ground and above ground with multiple discharge points feeding 60 tonne overhead day hoppers via bucket elevators and transfer conveyors.

Our equipment has proven to be reliable, efficient, clean, quiet and robust in a number of critical installations such as dairy factories, freezing works, hospitals and wool scours, where a loss of steam can have extremely negative consequences.
